The melody starts slowly
With calm control
And starts to rise only
When the baseline starts to roll
Each individual note
Carries its own mystique
Emphasizing what I wrote
And whatever I speak
Steady and hypnotic
Each instrument places
Its own sound neurotic
As the volume raises
Nothing moves me more
Than when I'm in the heat
Of combining original lore with original beat.

graduated from Spring Street School in the class of 2004 and is
now attending Vassar College in
